Founded by Stephen Meakin, Cormorant Sails has relocated to Dartmouth in Devon. Stephen mothballed Cormorant Sails whilst he has been racing in various regattas around the coast but is now focused on building a successful sail loft in Dartmouth. Stephens experience started with being trained on the east coast before being asked to take over the roll of general manager of Ratsey and Lapthorn in Cowes, UK. Whilst Stephen has all the traditional skills required for building classic sails, modern technology now plays a huge roll in the loft with computer designs and all forms of sail cloth now in store at the loft.
